The Girl Behind the Chair
Hi, My name is Missy Moya and I am a true southern girl from Baton Rouge, Louisiana. I'm 24 years old and am a Proud Army Wife, as well as a proud Mom of my son, Xander. I graduated from Vanguard College of Cosmetology: A Paul Mitchell Partner School and was licensed by the State of Louisiana. I have been doing hair for 5 years, and it has been one of the most rewarding experiences for me. The hair industry has been my passion for as long as I can remember. I grew up in a salon atmosphere and before I had graduated high school, I knew that being behind the chair in a salon was where I was meant to be. As much as I enjoy the art and creativity of my job, I also enjoy spending time with my clients and learning from them as well. Throughout my career, I have met some of the most amazing and interesting people. Making people look and feel beautiful is one of the best feelings and is what makes all the hard work worthwhile.
"The beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears, the figure that she carries or the way she combs her hair."
-Audrey Hepburn
"Imperfection is beauty, madness is genius and it's better to be absolutely ridiculous than absolutely boring."
